If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate

A filmmaker says he used Grok and Grok Bot to build his own video editor in three to four days to replace Adobe Premiere, and Elon Musk amplifies it (opens the post on X)

I don't give a damn what they say about @ElonMusk anymore. I just used his @Grok/@Bot combo to free myself from 25+ years of captivity to Adobe Premiere. I now have my OWN video editor that does what *I* want. 3-4 days of effort on my part. DAYS. And soon I'm gonna post the source code for free so anyone can download it and use @Grok/@Bot to modify it to their requirements. It may not work for you as is, but you can modify it. So if you want me to listen to your jealous evil rants about how Elon did this or Elon did that, fevered ravings from ugly minds about how horrible he is, you're going to have to do something for me at least as GOOD as freeing me from 25+ years in the clutches of Adobe. Otherwise you and your ravings are useless to me. Be at least as useful as @ElonMusk has been to me.

François Chollet says agents now write nearly all code yet engineers work harder and company results are not budging (opens the post on X)

Some observations about the "total" automation of software engineering: 1. There are more software engineers now than in 2025, and demand is growing. 2. Software engineers have never worked harder than they do now. 3. They largely don't write code anymore, agents write ~100% of the code. 4. The bottom line of the companies that employs these engineers and agents (i.e. the terminal purpose of all this code) is typically not budging as a result of AI adoption. This is why you have to think in terms of systems. Automating one aspect of a system creates its own friction and moves the bottlenecks elsewhere.
