TestingCatalog spots a Chief of Staff agent in Google's Antigravity app
Now it is getting serious 馃憖 Antigravity agent has just been renamed to "Chief of stuff" in the latest update! I am wondering if Antigravity will be a place where Google would consider adding its botsdots agents. Looks like a promotion, at least 馃

Context
It is the latest change TestingCatalog has tracked in Google's agent products, on a day Google also unveiled a universal Gemini agent for business.
Antigravity is Google's agent based coding product. TestingCatalog, an account that tracks unreleased features, posted a screenshot from the latest update showing a sidebar entry named Chief of Staff; its post calls the new name "Chief of stuff," which appears to be a typo. Google has not announced the change.
Deep dive
The screenshot shared by TestingCatalog shows the Antigravity desktop app with a sidebar listing New Conversation, Conversation History, Automations, Customizations and a Chief of Staff entry with a toggle switch. The main panel shows an empty prompt box with a model picker set to Gemini 3.8 Flash on a high setting.
TestingCatalog describes the change as the Antigravity agent being renamed, and calls it a promotion. It also wondered aloud whether Google might bring other agents into Antigravity. That is TestingCatalog's speculation; Google has said nothing about it.
The finding lands on a busy day for Google's agent plans. At its Gemini at Work event, Google Cloud announced a universal Gemini agent for companies that can run long tasks, coordinate sub agents and work across Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Slack, VentureBeat reported. There is no confirmed link between that launch and the Antigravity change.
TestingCatalog posts screenshots of features found in app builds before they are announced, and such features sometimes change or never ship. The Chief of Staff name should be treated as unconfirmed until Google documents it.
What to expect next
Watch for Google to confirm the Chief of Staff name in release notes or product pages, and for details on what the toggle in the sidebar controls.
The open question is whether Google is turning Antigravity from a coding tool into a broader personal agent, and how that fits with the universal Gemini agent Google Cloud announced the same day. Further leaks from TestingCatalog or an official Gemini launch may answer it.
