Deep dive
Six days after unveiling Claude Duet, Anthropic product lead Karan Ahuja shared the first formal access timeline for users waiting to test the new collaborative workspace product. According to Ahuja, Anthropic is prioritizing all Claude Max subscribers in the United States first, with large batches of invitations sent out on Monday and Tuesday and additional waves scheduled throughout the rest of the week.
Once US Claude Max subscribers have been cleared from the waitlist, Anthropic will immediately begin inviting US Claude Pro subscribers. For users outside the United States, Ahuja noted that the team is working on international expansion and will share a launch date as soon as regulatory and infrastructure preparations are complete, while encouraging new prospective users to join the waitlist on Claude's website.
Ahuja emphasized that Anthropic is building Claude Duet specifically with and for working professionals, small business owners, and entrepreneurs who constantly juggle competing priorities across documents, communications, and schedules.
