Tesla says its supervised Full Self Driving is now approved in Slovakia, with rollout beginning soon
Now approved in Slovakia 馃嚫馃嚢 Rollout begins soon

Context
Each European approval widens where Tesla can sell its driver assistance software, after years of regulatory delays in the region.
This is a first hand post from Tesla Europe. Slovakia's transport ministry confirmed the approval, which recognizes an earlier Dutch type approval, and the system still requires a supervising driver.
Deep dive
On October 16, Tesla Europe posted: Now approved in Slovakia, with rollout beginning soon.
Slovakia's Ministry of Transport published a press release the same day saying the country has allowed partially autonomous driving of cars. Reports summarizing the decision say Slovakia approved Tesla's FSD Supervised system, which Tesla also calls Tesla Assisted Driving, by recognizing a preliminary type approval from the Dutch vehicle authority RDW, and that the driver remains fully responsible while it is in use.
Some reports describe Slovakia as roughly the ninth European country to approve the system. Tesla did not give a date for the rollout or say which vehicles are eligible.
The attached image shows the view from a driver's seat on a road, with the driver's hands near the wheel and Tesla's driving visualization on the center screen.
Supervised systems like this steer, brake and change lanes but are not driverless, and European rules have required national or EU level approval before Tesla could offer the feature.
What to expect next
Watch for the actual rollout date in Slovakia and which models and hardware versions receive the feature.
Also watch whether more European countries recognize the Dutch approval in the coming weeks, whether the EU moves toward a single approval for all member states, and how early Slovak users and safety regulators judge the system's performance on local roads. Neighboring countries such as Czechia may be next to decide.
